2301-1339 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This disposable napkin-knickers has a generally rectangular shape and includes a flexible and impermeable support sheet, an absorbent wad dis- posed on a support sheet and a flexible and permeable upper sheet covering the absorbent wad. It further comprises in combination: two distinct elastic systems extending longitudinally along at least a part of the length of the napkin, the first system being disposed along the edge of the wad on each side of the latter so as to impart thereto an anatomical shape, and the second system being disposed along the edge of the napkin on each side of the latter so as to ensure the fluidtightness thereof when it is carried by a user. A region of each làteral edge of the napkin outside the wad, intermediate between the edge of the latter and the edge of the napkin is preferably fixed to the Latter so as to decrease the width of the napkin at least in the region of the crotch of a user.
