ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A reusable nappy comprising an area of woven material forming an inner surface, which in use, contacts the skin of the baby. The area of woven material is so shaped as to form a back portion, a front portion and an intermediate portion such that, in use, the back portion is located with the lower back and buttocks of the baby, the intermediate portion is engaged between the legs of the baby and the front portion locates over the lower front body of the baby. The nappy is characterized in that the back portion includes flaps which can be wrapped around the waist of the baby and the front portion includes flaps which can be either tucked under or wrapped around the waist of the baby. The flaps of the rear portion have connecting means attached thereto which can be coupled together upon the flaps being wrapped around the waist of the baby. Alternatively the connecting means can be coupled with a second connecting means attached to the front portion of the nappy.
