A pharmaceutical composition for single, effective and consistent plasma level, nasal administration comprises an aqueous solution having a volume of from about 5 to about 75 µl and from about 0.2 to about 2.0 mg/ml of desmopressin acetate, a molarly corresponding amount of desmopressin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of desmopressin. The composition is useful for the management of urinary disorders such as diabetes insipidus, incontinence, and nocturnal enuresis.

Cette invention se rapporte à une composition pharmaceutique pour une administration nasale unique, efficace et à niveau de plasma constant, cette composition comprenant une solution aqueuse ayant un volume compris entre environ 5 et environ 75 µl et entre environ 0,2 et environ 2,0 mg/ml d'acétate de desmopressine, ainsi que de la desmopressine ou un sel de desmopressine pharamceutiquement acceptable selon une quantité correspondante en masse molaire. Cette composition est utile pour traiter les troubles urinaires tels que le diabète insipide, l'incontinence et l'énurésie nocturne.
