Disclosed is an end structure (16) for a nasal insert tube (2) ofnasal dosing device (1). The nasal insert tube (2) is constructed having an outer surface (9) with at least two levels thereby forming a hub (18). The nasal insert tube (2) has a blunt dispensing end (16) with at least one ejection port (4) that is positioned substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the nasal insert tube (2). Further, the distance D from at least one ejection port (4) to the hub (18) substantially matches a preferred distance from the outer opening of the nasal passage (i.e. the nares) to a location inside the nasal passage shown to augment the effectiveness of nasally administered medicine. For infants, the preferred distance is approximately 1 cm. The invention may be incorporated into a syringe tube (5), a gas propelled nasal device, or an adapter for either a syringe tube (5) or a gas propelled nasal dosing device.

Par ailleurs, la distance entre l'orifice d'expulsion et le raccord est sensiblement égale à la distance préférée entre l'ouverture extérieure des voies nasales (c.-à-d. les narines) et une zone située à l'intérieure des voies nasales censée potentialiser l'efficacité du médicament administré par voie nasale. Pour les enfants, la distance préférée est d'environ 1 cm. Cette invention peut être intégrée dans de nombreuses variantes de réalisation. On peut ainsi l'intégrer dans un tube pour seringue, un dispositif nasal propulsé par gaz ou un adaptateur pour tube pour seringue ou pour dispositif nasal propulsé par gaz.
