A natural antioxidant blend in the form of an amphorous powder was obtained by extraction from Emblica officinalis fruit. In this process, the finely pulped fruit was treated with a dilute aqueous salt solution at hot water temperature to provide an extract-containing solution, which was filtered and dried to provide the desired antioxidant blend powder. A synergistically stabilized composition of ascorbic acid or its derivatives with the antioxidant composition of Emblica officinalis, is also described. Cosmetic, pharmaceutical and nutritional use formulations thereof also are described.

L'invention concerne un mélange naturel antioxydant sous forme de poudre amorphe, obtenu par extraction à partir du fruit Emblica officinalis. Dans ce procédé, le fruit finement écrasé est traité au moyen d'une solution aqueuse de sel dilué, à une température d'eau chaude, afin d'obtenir une solution contenant un extrait, cette solution étant filtrée et séchée de façon à obtenir la poudre de mélange oxydant désirée. L'invention concerne également une composition d'acide ascorbique ou de ses dérivés synergétiquement stabilisée au moyen de la composition antioxydante de Emblica officinalis. Elle concerne, en outre, l'utilisation de formulations cosmétiques, pharmaceutiques et nutritionnelles desdites compositions.
