A reconstituted human anti-HM1.24 antibody which contains: (A) an L chain containing (1) a human L chain C region and (2) an L chain V region containing the human L chain FR and the L chain CDR of a mouse anti-HM1.24 monoclonal antibody, and (B) an H chain containing (1) a human H chain C region and (2) and H chain V region containing the human H chain FR and the H chain CDR of the mouse anti-HM1.24 monoclonal antibody. Because of originating mostly in the human antibody and having CDRs with a low antigenicity, this reconstituted human antibody has a low antigenicity to human beings and, therefore, is expected to be therapeutically useful.
L'invention concerne un anticorps anti-HM1.24 reconstitué qui contient: (A) une chaîne légère contenant (1) une région C de chaîne légère humaine et (2) une région V de chaîne légère contenant la région structurale (FR) d'une chaîne légère humaine et la région déterminante complémentaire (CDR) d'une chaîne légère d'un anticorps monoclonal anti-HM1.24 de souris, et (B) une chaîne lourde contenant (1) une région C de chaîne lourde humaine et (2) une région V d'une chaîne lourde contenant la région FR d'une chaîne lourde humaine et la région CDR d'un anticorps monoclonal anti-HM1.24 de souris. Etant donné qu'il est essentiellement dérivé de l'anticorps humain et qu'il comporte des régions CDR présentant une faible antigénicité, cet anticorps humain reconstitué présente une faible antigénicité pour l'homme et devrait ainsi présenter une utilité thérapeutique.
