A method, apparatus and all natural bait for trap fishing of crustaceans in the form of dried virus free bait cakes having ground fish parts and a binder of a high bloom number gelatin blended in hot water, which gelatin acts as a binding agent for a dry bait with a finished internal and surface hardness for insertion in a trap bait bag. This bait (when fished in crustacean-bearing waters) results in a naturally eroding virus free bait which provides a slow release of small fish particles for chumming purposes, while larger re-hydrated fish pieces remain contained in the bait bag.
L'invention concerne une méthode, un appareil et un appât naturel pour la pêche aux trappes de crustacés sous forme de cubes d'appât exempts de virus, composés de morceaux de poisson de fond et d'un liant de gélatine à grand nombre de blooms mélangé dans de l'eau chaude, la gélatine servant d'agent liant pour un appât sec, caractérisé par une dureté interne et superficielle en vue d'être inséré dans un sac d'appât de trappe. Cette invention (lorsqu'on pêche dans des eaux contenant des crustacés) donne lieu à un appât exempt de virus et à érosion naturelle qui assure une diffusion lente de petites particules de poisson à des fins d'amorçage, alors que les morceaux de poisson plus grands restent dans le sac d'appât.
