The invention provides an improved near net-shape VPS formed multilayered combustion system component having an inner surface consisting of a smooth protective thermal barrier coating, and an outer layer of superalloy capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 700~C. The invention also includes the method of forming such components by first vacuum plasma spraying a suitable mold with a ceramic top coat, followed by a bond coat and followed by a thick structural layer of superalloy. The mold is then separated from the multilayered structure which results in the desired near net-shape component. Combustor liners and transition ducts of gas turbine engines can be advantageously formed in this manner.
L'invention a trait à un composant multicouche amélioré de système de combustion d'une grande précision dimensionnelle formé par projection plasma sous vide possédant une surface intérieure constituée d'un revêtement d'isolant thermique protecteur lisse et une surface extérieure de superalliage capable de résister à des températures dépassant 700 degrés Celcius. L'invention porte aussi sur la méthode de formation de ces composants : d'abord la projection plasma sous vide d'une couche de finition en céramique dans un moule approprié, suivie d'une couche de liaison et, finalement, d'une épaisse couche de superalliage. Le moule est alors séparé de la structure multicouche pour obtenir le composant de grande précision dimensionnelle voulu. Grâce à cette méthode, il est possible de former de façon avantageuse les chemises de combustion et les conduits de passage des turbines à gaz.
