Each trough (16) has an inner wall (22) that, with the other inner side wall (22) defines a retaining passage (28) between the troughs (16) and on its inner surface a grip for the fingers. The device may also be able to hold a sample tube (50) and include an indent (34) adjacent one edge to place over a subcutaneous implanted injection port (42).
