A needle holder (10) for use with a fluid transfer system of the type having a standard threaded cannula (40) and a fluid container (50). The needle holder (10) includes an actuation mechanism (20) for detachably mounting a cannula to the holder, the actuation mechanism including pivotable threaded halves (22, 22') and an actuator (30) operably associated therewith. In a cannula-mounting position, facing surfaces on the threaded halves cooperate to define a threaded passageway (23) for engaging the cannula. Upon operation of the actuator, the threaded halves pivot to a retracted position to disengage from the cannula.

Cette invention concerne un porte-aiguille (10) utilisable dans un dispositif de transfert de fluide du type comportant une canule filetée normalisée (40) et un réservoir à fluide (50). Ce porte-aiguille (10) comporte un mécanisme d'actionnement (20) qui sert à monter de façon détachable une canule sur le porte-aiguille, ledit mécanisme d'actionnement comportant des moitiés filetées (22, 22') pivotantes et un actionneur (30) qui lui est fonctionnellement associé. Dans une position de montage de la canule, les surfaces des moitiés filetées qui se font face, définissent ensemble un passage fileté (23) à l'intérieur duquel on peut insérer la canule. Le fonctionnement de l'actionneur entraîne le pivotement des moitiés filetées en position de retrait et permet de libérer la canule.
