A needle inserter housing may have a needle, plunger, and bias mechanism supported within the housing by a tab configured to retain the plunger in position and to allow the plunger to move under bias force imparted by the bias mechanism to move the needle to an insert position when the tab is removed. A base and a structure may be configured for rel-ative movement there between and may be adapted to be secured to a user with a cannula extending through a body of the structure into the user dur-ing use of a medical device. A housing may be adapted to be secured to a user to support a medical device operable with an insertion needle, the housing having a magnifying material for increasing visibility of an injec-tion site.
L'invention porte sur un boîtier d'insertion d'aiguille pouvant présenter une aiguille, un piston et un mécanisme de sollicitation supporté à l'intérieur du boîtier par une languette conçue de façon à retenir le piston en position et à permettre au piston de se déplacer sous l'effet d'une force de sollicitation appliquée par le mécanisme de sollicitation pour déplacer l'aiguille vers une position d'insertion lorsque la languette est retirée. Une base et une structure peuvent être conçues pour le déplacement relatif de l'une par rapport à l'autre et peuvent être conçues pour être fixées sur un utilisateur avec une canule s'étendant à travers un corps de la structure jusque dans l'utilisateur lors de l'utilisation d'un dispositif médical.
