A needle-less device for the parenteral administration of a medicament is disclosed. The medicament has the shape of one end of a toothpick. It is palced in the bore of a barrel with the barrel having the shape of a nose cone at one end. A plunger is inserted into the other end of the bore. The plunger forces the medicament through the skin and into the subcutaneous layer of the patient without the need for penetration of the skin by a needle.

L'invention concerne un dispositif sans aiguille pour l'administration parentérale d'un médicament. Le médicament a la forme d'une extrémité de cure-dent. Il est placé dans l'alésage d'un cylindre dont une extrémité a la forme d'un nez conique. Un plongeur est introduit dans l'autre extrémité de l'alésage. Le plongeur force le médicament à passer au travers de la peau et à entrer dans la couche sous-cutanée du patient sans avoir à piquer la peau du patient avec une aiguille.
