A method of weaving tubular textile articles, comprising: forming first, second, third and fourth superposed layers (22, 24, 26, 28) of warp threads; weaving by weft insertion through sheds formed in said layers (22, 24, 26, 28), the weaving being performed by first and second weft threads (30, 32) inserted by first and second needles (34, 26) from one side of said warp layers (22, 24, 26, 28); each weft threads (30, 32) being inserted alternately through a selected pair of said warp layers (22, 24, 26, 28); and the weft loops at the other side of said layers (22, 24, 26, 28) being knitted together, the first layer (22) with the second layer (24) and the third layer (26) with the fourth layer (28), to form a pair of selvedges. A tubular textile article formed by the method is provided. A needleloom for weaving such articles is also provided.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de tissage d'articles textiles de forme tubulaire, comportant: la formation de première, deuxième, troisième et quatrièmes nappes de fils de chaîne superposées; le tissage par insertion de trame à travers les foules réalisées dans lesdites nappes, le tissage étant effectué par des premier et deuxième fils de trame insérés par les première et deuxième aiguilles à partir d'un côté desdites nappes de chaînes, chaque fil de trame étant inséré en alternance à travers une paire déterminée desdites nappes de chaîne, et les mailles de trame de l'autre côté desdites nappes étant assemblées par tricotage, la première nappe avec la seconde nappe et la troisième nappe avec la quatrième nappe, en vue de constituer une paire de lisières. L'invention concerne également un métier permettant de tisser de tels articles.
