A B S T R A C T This invention relates to a kit which in assembled form constitutes a frame suitable for use as a needlework frame. In use of the frame a base fabric is placed over the frame and secured to the frame and subsequently the frame elements are relatively displaced to tauten the fabric. The frame is particularly characterized in that it includes a clamping arrangement whereby the frame elements may be securely clamped together to retain the base fabric in tautened state. -1-
