Needle loom comprising devices (5,6) to needle a sheet of fibres (2) passing between two perforated steel sheets (3, 7), mechanisms (17) to introduce the sheet of fibres (2) between the two steel sheets (3,7), mechanisms (10) to extract the sheet of fibres (2) below the needling devices (5,6), mechanisms (4) to drive these needling devices (5,6) to effect a periodic punching movement, and means for control and processing (11) connected to these needle punching drives (4). This needle loom (1) comprises in addition electromechanic apparatuses (12) to drive at a variable speed the extraction mechanisms (10), operated through the control and processing devices (11) to impart to the extraction mechanisms (10) an extraction speed modulated to the punch rate based on an average extraction speed. Used for the manufacture of non-woven products.
