A negative pressure-resisting, high strength sealing cap having a cap body with first leak-prevention means and second leak-prevention means suspended on the inside for sealing the neck of a container, the first leak-prevention means having a locating flange downwardly raised from a top wall of the cap body and a sealing flap curved outwardly upwards from a bottom side of the locating flange, the second leak-prevention means having a springy transverse sealing flange raised around the peripheral wall of the cap body on the inside and suspended above the sealing flap of the first leak-prevention means, a locking ring integral with the cap body at a bottom side, the locking ring having a plurality of protruded retaining portions obliquely upwardly raised from an inside wall thereof and a plurality of transverse ribs raised from the inside wall of the locking ring and respectively connected between each two adjacent protruded retaining portions, and a series of dents formed at the connecting area between the cap body and the locking ring to facilitate tearing along a predetermined line in detaching the cap body from the locking ring.
