PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention a trait à des alliages de néodyme caractérisés par le fait qu'ils contiennent (en dehors des impuretés) de 70 à 95% de néodyme ou d'un mélange de néodyme et d'au moins un métal d'une terre rare, représentant jusqu'à 50% du poids dudit mélange, choisie dans le groupe constitué par l'yttrium, le lanthane, le cérium, le praséodyme, le gadolinium, le terbium, le dysprosium, l'holmium, l'erbium, le thulium et le lutécium,et de 5 a 30% de fer. Elle con- cerne également le procédé de fabrication d'alliages de néodyme et de fer, caractérisé par le fait qu'il consiste à réduire un halogénure de néodyme avec un métal réducteur, en présence dé fer. Le néodyme peut être remplacé partiellement par un métal d'une autre terre rare.
