A nest box system (10) having a plurality of nest boxes (12) for egg-laying birds, including a pair of substantially parallel sidewalls (14, 14) forming sides of the nest boxes (12), and divider walls (16) mounted to the sidewalls (14, 14) at spaced intervals for forming dividers between adjacent nest boxes (12), the nest box system (10) being adapted for use with a floor (18) separable from the nest box system (10), wherein the sidewalls (14, 14) are deformable upwardly/downwardly so as to adapt to changes in profile of the floor (18) for preventing litter escaping the nest boxes (12) through unwanted self-lifting of the sidewalls (14, 14) above the floor (18).

L'invention concerne un système de pondoirs (10) comportant plusieurs pondoirs (12) destinés aux oiseaux de ponte, comportant deux parois latérales sensiblement parallèles (14, 14) constituant les côtés des pondoirs (12), et des cloisons (16) montées sur les parois latérales (14, 14) à distance les unes des autres afin de constituer des cloisons entre des pondoirs (12) contigus, ledit système de pondoirs (10) étant destiné à être utilisé avec un plancher (18) séparable dudit système de pondoirs (10). Ces parois (14, 14) sont déformables vers le haut/vers le bas de façon à s'adapter à des modifications du profil du plancher (18) et à empêcher les déjections de sortir des pondoirs (12) du fait d'un auto-levage indésirable des parois latérales (14, 14) au-dessus du plancher (18).
