A nestable ball retrieval and storage device for collecting balls from the ground is provided. The device includes a receptacle and a connected handle. The receptacle has a bot-tom grate with elongated members spaced apart from one another by a distance slightly less than a diameter of a ball to define at least one bottom opening through which a compressed ball on the ground can be forced through. The receptacle further has a re-ceptacle wall structure surrounding and connected to the bottom grate. The receptacle wall structure converges inwardly from an open top to the bottom grate to establish a tapering cavity shaped to permit nesting therein of another substantially identical ball retrieval and storage device. The handle extends through a bot-tom opening of the bottom grate of the other device when the other device is nesting in the tapering cavity of the ball retrieval and storage device.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de ramassage et de stockage de balles emboîtable destiné à ramasser des balles posées sur le sol. Le dispositif comprend un réceptacle auquel est reliée une poignée. Le réceptacle dispose d'une grille inférieure dotée d'éléments allongés espacés les uns des autres d'une distance légèrement inférieure au diamètre d'une balle afin de définir au moins une ouverture inférieure à travers laquelle une balle compressée posée sur le sol peut être introduite par force. Le réceptacle comprend en outre une structure de parois de réceptacle reliée à la grille inférieure et entourant celle-ci. La structure de parois de réceptacle converge vers l'intérieur, d'une partie supérieure ouverte vers la grille inférieure, pour former une cavité conique façonnée de façon à permettre d'emboîter à l'intérieur un autre dispositif de ramassage et de stockage de balles sensiblement identique. La poignée s'étend à travers une ouverture inférieure de la grille inférieure de l'autre dispositif lorsque l'autre dispositif est emboîté dans la cavité conique du dispositif de ramassage et de stockage de balles.
