A nestable filter having a central panel (30) with a frame (20) attached around the peripheral edges of the central panel (30). The central panel (30) has elongated corrugations (35) which extend longitudinally from one side to the opposite side. The frame (20) is made up of frame members (24, 25, 26, 27) which have a generally V-shaped cross section, the inner leg (22) of which attaches to the edges of the corrugated central panel (30). Corrugated voids (23) are formed on the inner wall (22) of at least two of the frame members, aligned with the channels formed by the corrugations, permitting the filter to nest within a similary constructed filter.

L'invention concerne un filtre empilable comprenant un panneau central (30), pourvu d'un cadre (20) fixé autour des bords de ce panneau central (30). Ce panneau central (30) présente des ondulations allongées qui s'étendent longitudinalement d'un côté au côté opposé. Le cadre (20) est constitué d'éléments (24, 25, 26, 27) dont le profil est généralement en forme de V, la cathète intérieure (22) de ces éléments étant fixée aux bords dudit panneau central ondulé (30). Des vides ondulés (23) sont formés sur la paroi intérieure (22) d'au moins deux des éléments dudit cadre, et alignés par rapport aux conduits formés par les ondulations, permettant ainsi au filtre d'être empilé sur un filtre de même type.
