ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The sifter comprises: a hollow body member, a screen and an agitator positioned within the body member near one end thereof, the body member tapering inwardly between its other end and the screen, a handle member connected to the outer surface of the body member near the other end, and extending away from the body member at its distal end, actuating means for driving the agitator, the actuating means extending along and adjacent to the outer surface of the body member and being connected, at one end, to the agitator and, at the other end, to one of the members whereby the sifter permits additional sifters to nest therein.
