ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The netting strip for the overlapped and self-retaining wrapping of pressed stalk bales, is made from a material containing additives which results in at least the net binding being broken down in the foreseeable future by environmental conditions. The netting can be made from an organic non-toxic material, for example a network-forming plasticisable starch, which can be consumed by cattle and which has in addition the aforementioned properties (Fig.2).
