The invention relates to a network architecture for allocating flight inventory segments and resources based on their current market value. In particular, the present invention accesses availability information on a computer system and continuously computes a new minimum acceptance price for a given itinerary based on the current market value of the itinerary, thus allowing the resource provider to maximize incoming revenues from the sale of its inventory of reservations.
