Various electronic equipments used in a network conferencing system areintegrally managed and presentation is made in a simple manner. When each attendantelectronic equipment becomes a chairman terminal having an equipment managementfunction, it inquires the availability of an electronic equipment used for a conference,then obtains information related to an available equipment from a client controlsection of a conference management server, and determines whether the electronicequipment used for the conference is an output electronic equipment such as aprojector or a generating electronic equipment such as a scanner. Thus, an icondisplay of the generating electronic equipment and an icon display of the outputelectronic equipment are provided while separating an area for the icon display of thegenerating electronic equipment and an area for the icon display of the outputelectronic equipment, by the display function of each attendant electronic equipment.
L'invention porte sur la gestion intégrée d'équipements électroniques utilisés dans un système de téléconférence et sur une méthode simplifiée de présentation. Lorsque chacun des participants vient occuper le poste de président il assure la fonction de gestionnaire d'équipements, et à ce titre, il s'informe sur la disponibilité des équipements électroniques servant à la conférence et obtient des informations correspondantes de la section de contrôle des clients d'un serveur de gestion de conférences des informations. Il détermine ainsi si les équipements utilisés pour la conférence sont des dispositifs à émission tels que des projecteurs ou des dispositifs électroniques générateurs tels que des scanners. Des icônes, correspondant à l'un ou l'autre type d'équipemens apparaissent alors dans deux zones distinctes de l'écran de l'équipement électronique de chaque participant.
