Entertainment content complementary to a musical recording is delivered to a user's computer by means of a computer network link. The user employs a browser to access the computer network. A plug-in for the browser is able to control an audio CD or other device for playing the musical recording. A script stored on the remote computer accessed over the network is downloaded. The script synchronizes the delivery of the complementary entertainment content with the play of the musical recording.

L'invention concerne des données de divertissement complétant un enregistrement musical, ces données étant transmises à l'ordinateur d'un utilisateur par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison de réseau informatique, ledit utilisateur utilisant un navigateur pour accéder à ce réseau informatique. Un module d'extension, conçu pour ledit navigateur, permet de commander un C.D. audio ou tout autre dispositif destiné à lire l'enregistrement musical. On télécharge un script stocké dans l'ordinateur à distance, auquel on accède par le réseau. Ce script permet de synchroniser la diffusion des données de divertissement complémentaires et la lecture dudit enregistrement musical.
