A system and method for minimizing superfluous signaling traffic and for minimizing data processing pressures on a network including a network information repository (NIR), comprises having mobile stations that enter a network domain compare and detect inconsistencies in network information received through different sources and report those inconsistencies to the NIR, having the NIR update a cell broadcast controller (CBC)/BMSC with the network information, and having the CBC/BMSC broadcast or multicast the updated information.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé destinés à réduire au maximum le trafic de signalisation superflu et pour réduire au maximum les pressions de traitement de données dans un réseau, y compris le stockage d'informations réseau (NIR). Le procédés et le système comprennent des stations mobiles qui entrent dans un domaine de réseau et comparent et détectent les inconsistances dans les informations réseau reçues via les sources différentes, puis communiquent ces inconsistances au NIR. Le NIR met à jour un contrôleur de diffusion de cellules (CBC)/BMSC avec les informations réseau et font en sorte que CBC/BMSC diffusent ou diffusent de manière sélective les informations mises à jour.
