A method, apparatus and system for initiating a service change in a wireless system, the wireless system including an originating side and a terminating side. The invention includes initiating a modification request in a wireless system, wherein the modification request is a service change from a first mode to a second mode. The invention further includes modifying a terminal from a first mode to a second mode if the modification request is accepted by the terminal, and completing a radio bearer assignment after the modification request is accepted.
La présente invention concerne un procédé, un appareil et un système qui permettent d'introduire un changement de service dans un système sans fil, le système sans fil comprenant un côté de lancement et un côté de fin. Cette invention consiste à lancer une requête de modification dans un système sans fil, ladite requête de modification étant un changement de service entre un premier mode et un deuxième mode; et à modifier un terminal de sorte qu'il passe d'un premier mode à un deuxième mode si la requête de modification est acceptée par le terminal; puis à compléter une assignation de porteuse radio après l'acceptation de la requête de modification.
