Disclosed is a new aluminophosphate composition which is (i) amorphous; (ii) has, on a microlevel, sheets of aluminophosphate as well as spheres. The new composition can be made, in one embodiment, by neutralizing a mixture of aluminum cations and phosphate anions with a base with vigorous mixing including shear forces sufficient to result in the formation of a mixture of sheets and spheres of aluminophosphate on a microlevel.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle composition d'aluminophosphate qui (i) est amorphe et (ii) présente, sous forme d'une microstructure, des feuilles d'aluminophosphate ainsi que des sphères. Dans un mode de réalisation, la nouvelle composition peut être obtenue par neutralisation d'un mélange de cations d'aluminium et d'anions de phosphate avec une base, le mélange se faisant de façon intense et avec des forces de cisaillement suffisantes pour permettre la formation d'un mélange de feuilles et de sphères d'aluminophosphate sous forme de microstructure.
