The invention concerns associative acrylic polymers and the process for synthesizing them by means of radical polymerization in an invert microemulsion. This technique has the advantage of ensuring stable dispersion of high-molecular-weight transparent or translucent microlatex with a diameter of less than 100 nm. The invention's associative polymers are used as thickening agents in aqueous solutions.
L'invention concerne les polymères associatifs acryliques ainsi que leur procédé de synthèse par polymérisation radicalaire en micro-émulsion inverse. Cette technique a l'avantage de fournir une dispersion stable de microlatex transparents ou translucides de haut poids moléculaire et de diamètre inférieur à 100 nm. Les polymères associatifs de l'invention sont utilisés comme épaississants des solutions aqueuses.
