The invention relates to a novel cationic liquid starchy composition and uses thereof in industry, in particular, as an additive in paper and cardboard production, as an additive for treatment of industrial water, either from paper or cardboard production or not, or for the preparation of such additives. The cationic liquid starchy composition is characterised by selected dry material, viscosity, total nitrogen content and pH values. In particular, the viscosity is 200 mPa.s with a maximum of 1000 mPa.s, particularly lying between 250 and 950 mPa.s (according to a T test). The nitrogen content is at least 0.6 % with a maximum of 1.4 % (dry/dry). Said cationic liquid starchy composition can contain, in particular, at least one polyol, preferably a saccharide and used as is or after dilution. Said composition is particularly suitable, amongst other things, for the preparation of adhesive agents, particularly of the ASA type for bringing into contact, directly or not, with a fibre composition having a raised calcium ion content.
La présente invention a pour objet une nouvelle composition amylacée cationique liquide utilisable dans les secteurs industriels, en particulier comme additif pour papeterie ou cartonnerie, additif de traitement des eaux industrielles, issues ou non de papeterie ou cartonnerie, ou pour la préparation de tels additifs. La composition amylacée cationique liquide selon l'invention est caractérisée par des valeurs sélectionnées de matière sèche, de viscosité, de taux d'azote total et de pH. En particulier, la viscosité est supérieure à 200 mPa.s et au plus égale à 1000 mPa.S, notamment comprise entre 250 et 950 mPa.s (selon un test T). Le taux d'azote total est au moins égal à 0,6 % et au plus égal à 1,4 % (sec/sec). La composition amylacée cationique liquide selon l'invention peut contenir, en particulier, au moins un polyol, de préférence de nature saccharidique. Elle peut être utilisée en l'état ou après dilution. Elle est particulièrement bien adaptée, entre autres : à la préparation de compositions d'agents de collage, notamment de type « ASA », à une mise en contact, directe ou non, avec une composition fibreuse présentant une teneur élevée en ions calcium.
