This invention concerns new compounds with piperidinyl groups on a siloxane chain. It also concerns the use of these compounds to photostabilize polymers. The polymers include trimethylsiloxane groups at the end of the chain, and at least some of the silicon atoms of the polysiloxane chain carry tetramethyl-2,2,6,6 piperidinyl groups.

La présente invention concerne de nouveaux composés à fonctions pipéridinyle portées par une chaîne siloxanique. Elle concerne également l'utilisation de tels composés dans les polymères pour améliorer leur photostabilisation. Ces composés polymériques comportent à l'extrémité de leur chaîne des groupements trimethylsiloxaniques et une partie au moins des atomes de silicium de la chaîne polysiloxanique sont porteurs de groupements tétraméthyl-2,2,6,6 pipéridinyle.
