The present invention relates to the host-guest solid solutions formed from a mixture of 1,4-diketo-3,6-bis(4-chlorophenyl)pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole (para- dichloro DPP) and 1,4-diketo-3,6-bis(4-methylphenyl)pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole (para-dimethyl DPP). The mixture contains between 30-80 mol percent of para- dimethyl DPP and 70-20 mol percent of para-dichloro DPP. The present invention further relates to the preparation of the solid solutions, and to the use of the solid solutions and binary solid compounds as pigments.

La présente invention concerne des solutions solides "host-guest" constituées à partir d'un mélange de 1,4-dicéto-3,6-bis(4-chlorophényl)pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole (para-dichloro DPP) et de 1,4-dicéto-3,6-bis(4-méthylphényl)pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole (paradiméthyle DPP). Ce mélange contient entre 30 et 80 % en mole de para-diméthyle DPP et 70-20 % en mole de paradichloro DPP. Cette invention concerne en outre la préparation de ces solutions solides ainsi que l'utilisation de ces solutions solides et de composés solides binaires en tant que pigments.
