Disclosed herein is a new E.coli mutant, which is not capable of growing under anaerobic cultivation conditions, said mutant being capable of utilizing glucose as a carbon source but having a suppressed organic acid production under aerobic cultivation conditions. The mutant can advantageously be employed as expression host system to produce recombinant proteins.
Cette invention se rapporte à un nouveau mutant de E.coli, qui peut se développer dans des conditions de culture anaérobies, ledit mutant étant capable d'utiliser le glucose en tant que source de carbone mais ayant une production inhibée d'acides organiques dans des conditions de culture aérobies. Ce mutant peut avantageusement servir de système hôte d'expression destiné à la production de protéines recombinées.
