Novel glycolipid derivatives wherein the substituent of the sphingosine base moiety is alkyl having a shorter carbon chain, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl; an efficient process for mass-producing the same economically; and intermediates useful in the production thereof. Specifically, glycolipid derivatives represented by the general formula (I) are chemically synthesized: (I) wherein R3 is substituted or unsubstituted linear alkyl having 1 to 7 carbon atoms, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl; and R8 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 35 carbon atoms, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl.
L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de glycolipide, dans lesquels le substituant du groupe caractéristique de base sphingosine constitue un alkyle possédant une chaîne de carbone courte, un cycloalkyle substitué ou non substitué, un aryle substitué ou non substitué ou un aralkyle substitué ou non substitué. Cette invention a aussi trait à un procédé efficace servant à produire en masse ces dérivés de manière économique et à des intermédiaires utilisés dans la production associée. Plus spécifiquement, des dérivés de glycolipide représentés par la formule générale (I) sont chimiquement synthétisés. Dans ladite formule, R?3¿ représente un alkyle linéaire substitué ou non substitué possédant entre 1 et 7 atomes de carbone, un cycloalkyle substitué ou non substitué, un aryle substitué ou non substitué ou un aralkyle substitué ou non substitué, et R?8¿ représente un alkyle substitué ou non substitué possédant entre 1 et 35 atomes de carbone, un aryle substitué ou non substitué ou un aralkyle substitué ou non substitué.
