A hybrid strain of Agaricus having the following characteristics : it is interfertile with Agaricus bisporous; its fructifications bear basidia, at least 15 % of which are bisporous; and the majority of the spores borne by said fructifications are homokaryotic; said characteristics being genetically transmissible; method of obtaining said strain and use thereof in obtaining modified strains of Agaricus bisporus.

Souche hybride d'Agaricus présentant les caractéristiques suivantes: elle est interfertile avec Agaricus bisporus, ses fructifi- cations portent des basides dont moins de 15 % sont bisporées, et la majorité des spores portées par lesdites fructifications sont homocaryotiques, et dont ces caractéristiques sont génétiquement; procédé d'obtention d'une telle souche, et son utilisation dans l'obtention de souches d'Agaricus bisporus modifiées.
