The present invention comprises a dental cleanser for the cleaning of partial dentures with the added benefit of providing fluoride protection to the wearer's natural teeth when the denture is subsequently placed back in the mouth. Preferably, the cleanser will be provided in a two-layer tablet with a peroxy bleach cleanser contained in one layer and the sustained release fluoride source in the other. The composition may also be applied as a paste, cream, mouthwash or gel however.

L'invention concerne un agent de nettoyage dentaire servant à nettoyer des prothèses dentaires et présentant l'avantage supplémentaire d'une protection au fluorure des dents naturelles quand on replace la prothèse dans la bouche. Cet agent de nettoyage se présente, de préférence, sous la forme d'un comprimé à deux couches, dont l'une contient une substance de blanchiment au peroxy et l'autre la source de fluorure à libération prolongée.
