Uses are provided of various enzyme compositions. One use is of an enzyme composition, which exhibits both endo- and exo- peptidase activity comprising at least one proteolytic enzyme having a molecular weight from 18,000 to 40,000 and isolated from Antarctic krill, for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of various infections. Another use is of an enzyme composition, which has been isolated from Antarctic krill and exhibits both endo- and exo-peptidase activity, and which consists essentially of a single enzyme having a molecular weight from 26,000 to 32,000, for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of wounds or inflammation.
