New polyiodated compounds are disclosed, having general formula (I) in which R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9 and R10 are the same or different and are chosen from an iode atom, a group of formula (a) and a group of formula (b), with the proviso that at least two groups among R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9 and R10 are an iode atom. Said compounds be used in contrast products for radiography. A method of preparing these compounds and a contrast product containing them are also disclosed.
