La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'élaborer un (+)-(2S, 3S)-2-(3-chlorophényl)-3,5,5-triméthyl-2-morpholinol optiquement pur et certains de ses sels et solvates pharmaceutiquement admis. Ce traitement se fait à partir d'un mélange de (+)-(2S, 3S)-2-(3-chlorophényl)-3,5,5-triméthyl-2-morpholinol et de (-)-(2R, 3R)-2-(3-chlorophényl)-3,5,5-triméthyl-2-morpholinol. En l'occurrence, le procédé utilise la chromatographie en continue, avec des techniques telles que la chromatographie multi-colonne (MCC), le procédé VARICOL, et le dispositif Cyclojet.
