A salt of 2-[(2,6-dichlorophenyl)amine]phenylacetoxyacetic acid with an organic basic cation of formula (I); Wherein R1 and R2 independently are lower alkyl, or if R1 is hydrogen H-N(R1)(R2) has the meaning of arginine or lysine or if R1 is methyl H-N(R1)(R2) has the meaning of N-methylglucamine. This compound pocesses analgesic activity as well as antiinflammatory activity, suitable in the treatment of conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, lumbar pains, luxations and ocular inflammation. The compound further has an improved stability in aqueous solutions in comparison to the alkali metal salts, e.g. sodium and potassium.

L'invention concerne un sel d'acide 2-[(2,6-dichlorophényl)amines]phénylacétoxyacétique présentant un cation basique organique de la formule (I), dans laquelle R¿1? et R¿2? représentent indépendamment alkyle inférieur, ou si R¿1? représente hydrogène H-N( R¿1?)(R¿2?) a l'acception de l'argine ou de la lysine, ou si R¿1? représente méthyle H-N(R¿1?)(R¿2?) a l'acception de la N-méthyl glucamine. Ce composé a une activité analgésique ainsi qu'une activité anti-inflammatoire adaptée au traitement d'état tels que la polyarthrite rhumathoïde, la spondylarthrite anquilosante, les douleurs lombaires, les luxations et l'inflammation oculaire. Le composé présente également une stabilité supérieure dans des solutions acqueuses par rapport aux sels de métaux alcalins, par exemple de sodium et de potassium.
