A cut, sheeted and wrapped copy paper suitable for use in an electrostatic printing process derived from a pulp furnish comprised substantially of mechanical or thermomechanical wood pulp. The copy paper has a moisture content in the range of about 7 - 10% and a basis weight in the range of about 59-75 g/m2 and undergoes conventional cutting and sheeting operations without problems associated with static cling and has sufficient mechanical stability to provide acceptable imaging and paper path transport performance.
