Nickel Base Superalloy Abstract Nickel base superalloys containing Ni, Al, Mo and W are provided with enchanced oxidation resistance through the addition of coordinated amounts of Cr, Ta and Y. The resultant alloys have oxidation resistance and high temperature mechanical properties which are superior to those of other superalloys.
