Abstract of the Disclosure The low cycle and thermal fatigue life of special nickel-chromium molybdenum alloys are improved by controlling percentages of carbon, nitrogen and silicon such that the sum of any carbon plus nitrogen plus 1/10th silicon does not exceed 0.04% and preferably 0.035%.
