Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention relates to novel nicotinoylbenzoguanamine derivatives represented by the following general formula (I) Image (I) and acid addition salts thereof. In the formula, X and Y are the same or different and stand for hydrogen or halogen (excluding the case where both X and Y are hydrogens) and Z stands for mono-(lower alkyl) amino, di-(lower alkyl) amino, piperidino, pyrrolidino, or morpholino. The compounds represented by the above general formula (I) strongly inhibit a reversed passive Arthus reaction.
