A surface configuration obscures an object from detection by night vision devices, ultraviolet devices and infrared devices. The surface configuration is three dimensional, having spaced inner and outer surfaces. A wall defines a plurality of enclosed cells, and projections extend from the inner surface within the cells. The cells can be hexagonal, round or otherwise shaped. The projections can be flat sided or curved. The shapes of the cells and materials used provide sound muffling.

Cette configuration de surface est tridimensionnelle et présente des surfaces intérieures et extérieures espacées. Une paroi définit une pluralité de cellules fermées, à l'intérieur desquelles des parties saillantes s'étendent à partir de la surface intérieure. Ces cellules peuvent être hexagonales, rondes ou présenter une autre forme. Les parties saillantes peuvent présenter des côtés plats ou une forme incurvée. La forme des cellules et les matériaux utilisés permettent d'étouffer les sons.
