Provided are a nitrite-type nitrification carrier and a method for producing the same and a method and an apparatus for removing nitrogen using; the same, in which the quantity of organic matter to be added can be substantially reduced to reduce running cost. A method for producing a nitrite-type nitrification carrier in which ammonia-oxidizing bacteria for nitrifying ammonium to nitrite is preferentially accumulated comprises the steps of: entrapping and immobilizing any sludge selected from sediment from a lake, a river or the sea, soil from the surface of the earth, or activated sludge from a sewage-treatment plant into a monomer or a prepolymer for immobilizing microorganisms; and then subjecting the entrapped and immobilized sludge to heat treatment at 30 to 80°C.
On présente un vecteur de nitrification de type nitrite ainsi qu'une méthode pour produire celui- ci. On présente aussi une méthode et un dispositif permettant de retirer l'azote à l'aide de ce vecteur, dans lequel la quantité de matière organique à ajouter peut être réduite de manière substantielle, ce qui diminue le coût de fonctionnement. La méthode pour obtenir un vecteur de nitrification de type nitrite selon laquelle l'accumulation de bactéries oxydant l'ammonium est privilégiée comporte les étapes suivantes : piégeage et immobilisation de toute boue provenant des sédiments d'un lac, d'un cours d'eau ou de la mer, de sol prélevé à la surface de la Terre, ou de boues activées dans une usine de traitement des eaux usées, dans un monomère ou un prépolymère destiné à immobiliser les microorganismes; traitement thermique de la boue emprisonnée et immobilisée à une température de 30 à 80 degrés Celsius.
