As the results of intensive studies aiming at developing a remedy which has an effect of promoting osteogenesis by accelerating the function of osteoblasts, it is found out that specific nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds show a potent effect of promoting osteogenesis by osteoblasts and thus are useful as excellent preventives or remedies for metabolic bone diseases. Namely, it is intended to provide 3,6-disubstituted-1,2,4-triazo[4,3-b]pyridazine compounds having an effect of promoting osteogenesis or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and medicinal compositions, in particular, osteogenesis promoters comprising these compounds with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

Le composé décrit est le résultat d'études intensives consacrées à la mise au point d'un médicament dont l'effet consiste à stimuler l'ostéogenèse par une accélération de la fonction des l'ostéoblastes. Ces études ont démontré que certains composés hétérocycliques azotés spécifiques exercent un puissant effet de stimulation de l'ostéogenèse par les ostéoblastes et sont par conséquent utiles en tant que médicaments préventifs ou curatifs de haute qualité pour les maladies osseuses métaboliques. Cette invention concerne plus spécifiquement des composés 1,2,4-triazo[4,3-b]pyridazine disubstitués en 3,6, possédant un effet stimulateur de l'ostéogenèse, ou des sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ceux-ci, et des compositions médicinales, en particulier des promoteurs d'ostéogenèse comprenant les composés décrits associés à un excipient pharmaceutiquement acceptable.
