Abstract: The invention provides nitrogen-containing hetero- cyclic compounds which are representable by the formula: Image wherein R1 is one of the following groups: Image and (in which R4 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a methyl group and ? is an integer of 1 or 2); R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R3 is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkenyl group or an alkenyloxy group, all of which may optionally have one or more substituents; A is one of the following groups: Image and Image (in which R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R10 is a hydrogen atom, a halo- gen atom or a lower alkyl group and m is an integer of 1 to 4); and X is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom Such compounds are useful as insecticidal agents.
