A nitrogenous heterocyclic derivative represented by the general formula (I), a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, or a prodrug of either. These have excellent human SGLT2 inhibitory activity and are useful as a preventive or remedy for diseases attributable to hyperglycemia such as diabetes. (I) [In the general formula (I), X1 and X3 each is nitrogen or CH; X2 is nitrogen or CR2; X4 is nitrogen or CR3 (provided that one or two of X1 to X4 are nitrogen); and R1, R2, and R3 are hydrogen, etc.]
L'invention concerne un dérivé hétérocyclique azoté représenté par la formule générale (I), un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable dudit dérivé ou un promédicament du dérivé ou du sel. Ces composés présentent une remarquable activité d'inhibition de la SGLT2 humaine et conviennent comme agents prophylactiques ou thérapeutiques pour des maladies attribuables à l'hyperglycémie, telles que le diabète. Dans la formule générale (I), X?1¿ et X?3¿ représentent chacun azote ou CH ; X?2¿ représente azote ou CR?2 ¿; X?4¿ représente azote ou CR?3¿, à la condition qu'un ou deux radicaux de X?1¿ à X?4¿ représentent azote ; et R?1¿, R?2¿ et R?3¿ représentent hydrogène, etc.
