New carnitine derivatives of general formula (I) are described in racemic and/or optically active form, as well as the process for their preparation and their use as pharmaceutical anti-angina active ingredients for the treatment of ischaemic heart disease. A further subject of the invention described herein is a process for producing the (R)-carnitine enantiomer from (S)- carnitine (or vice versa), through the use of derivatives of general formula (I).
L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de carnitine correspondant à la formule générale (I) qui sont décrits sous forme racémique et/ou optiquement active. L'invention concerne également le procédé de préparation et d'utilisation de ces dérivés comme matière active pharmaceutique anti-angineuse pour le traitement de la cardiopathie ischémique.
